Alicante's priciest rental asks €40,000 a month
The vast villa near Alicante Golf has 1,900 square metres of living space, a pool and gardens with century-old trees
A luxury villa near Alicante has become the most expensive rental property in the city and across the province, with an asking price of €40,000 a month.
The home is listed on Idealista and sits near Avenida de Dénia, close to Santa Faz and the Alicante golf course. At that rate, a full year’s rent would cost €480,000, before utility bills and other possible expenses.
The villa offers 1,900 square metres of built space across two floors. It has three reception rooms, two separate fitted kitchens, seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms. The advertiser says it can accommodate up to ten people.
The property is described as “an oasis in the middle of the city”, combining space, mature gardens and easy access to the coast and motorways.
It is two kilometres from Albufereta beach, three kilometres from San Juan beach and seven kilometres from Alicante city centre. Alicante airport is 14 kilometres away, with straightforward access to the A-70 and AP-7.
Space inside and out
The rental includes furniture, fitted wardrobes, a storeroom, individual heating and air conditioning. A garage parking space is included in the monthly price.
One of the villa’s main features is a large porch that wraps around the building, making use of different orientations. There is also a terrace and balcony.
Outside, the plot covers between 19,000 and 22,000 square metres. It includes extensive gardens with century-old trees, a swimming pool, a sports area and ample parking.
The villa is advertised in good condition and is presented as suitable for families with children and people with reduced mobility, with adapted access and interiors.
At €40,000 a month, the property stands well apart from the rest of Alicante’s rental market, offering a level of space and privacy rarely found so close to the city.
