July 29 Free 7-kilometre guided hike in the Sierra de las Moreras and the coves of Bolnuevo
Explore the unspoilt coastline of Mazarrón on the stretch leading from Bolnuevo towards the south-west
This popular hiking route takes walkers on a trip along the southern side of the mountains of Sierra de Las Moreras in Mazarrón, leading to Cala Leño via the Rambla de la Paridera. From there, the route follows the unspoilt coastline to others of the coves of Bolnuevo including Cala de la Grúa, Cala Amarilla and Cala Cueva de Lobos, eventually returning back to the starting point.
The route is described as being of low to medium difficulty and usually lasts approximately 3 hours, and on this occasion the walk begins at 18.30. Prior registration is required online here, after which participants will be informed of the exact starting point.
All walkers should take at least a litre of drinking water and of course footwear appropriate for mountain walking should be worn. Nordic walking poles are recommended.
While registering it should be noted if any of those taking part are under the age of 18.
