Settled, sunny and getting hotter: Murcia weekly weather forecast July 14-17
Temperatures are due to rise over the course of this week in Murcia up to 40ºC/104ºF again

Murcia weather forecast, Wednesday July 16
According to the forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), this week’s weather in the Region of Murcia is set to be calm and sunny, with little chance of rain and the same high temperatures we have become used to of late, rising over the course of the week to reach very high levels by next weekend.
On Monday July 14, Aemet forecasts “fairly cloudy skies, with intervals of high clouds during the first half of the day and low morning clouds in the Campo de Cartagena”. They also note that there will be some calima “dust in suspension” in the air which will become less dense over the course of the day and “light variable winds, tending to blow from the east, occasionally moderate in the central hours”.
For Tuesday 15, the forecast is much the same, with the day starting off cloudy in coastal areas, “temperatures unchanged or rising slightly” and the calima almost entirely gone.

Murcia weather forecast, Tuesday July 15
Aemet’s forecast for Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 is the same, with the weather agency noting an increase in both minimum and maximum temperatures over the course of the week, up to highs of 39-40ºC in central and northern parts of the Region by the end of the week and going into the weekend – temperatures which no longer surprise us as we become more accustomed to living with the increasingly warm weather.
